What happens if you stop paying?

A vendor that stores your profiles also decides when to delete them. A folder on your disk has no such clock.

Dolphin Anty Cloud sync is on by default on paid plans. On the free plan, nothing leaves the device.

Plan ends Deleted

Cloud data is deleted 45 days after sync is turned off, or at once on request.
Donut Browser On your disk. Sync is optional, and the sync server is open source.

Nothing is deleted. There is no second copy.

Real limits of Donut Browser. If one of these describes your work, stay where you are.

You need Firefox-engine profiles. Donut Browser ships one engine, Wayfern, and it is Chromium.
You want to open the same profile on any machine with no setup. Donut keeps profiles on the device. Syncing them needs a paid plan or your own sync server.
